A Million Thanks!

Kathie & Amy:

We cannot express in a million years how very grateful the Diversity Divas are that you gave us the opportunity to participate in this contest. Even though we didn't win the grand prize we feel that we are still winners because we did lose a lot of weight. This gave us a "jump start" on the extra poundage that we still want to lose. We also appreciated all the encouragement that we received from two of you and also from all the other teams.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you from the Diversity Divas!!!!!!!!

1 Week to Go!!!

After looking at all our numbers, all the pounds we lost, I must say - I am IMPRESSED!!! Great job everyone:)
I was very hard on myself at the start of this program. But after a few weeks, I found that I have been losing consistently 1.2 lbs. per week. I will take it!!! I am also doing the Wegman's challenge (strive for 5 & walking 10,000 steps a day). This has been a huge help in with changing the way I eat...I'm too full from all the fruit & veggies to eat the chips/chocolate/pasta!
Thank you Amy & Kathy for accepting the Chunky Monkey's into this contest. We have learned a lot and have changed the way we eat for the better! You have been supportive and kept me going every Friday!!! If possible, I wouldn't mind weighing in with you after the contest also to help me keep on track. Let us know if this is an option.
I know not all of us are able to win the TV, but we are all winners! Great Job, keep up the good work!!!

Almost at the end.

Who would've thought that I'd be sad to see MITLI come to an end? This program was just the kick start I needed to get me to realize that losing weight, although it's tough, isn't impossible. I want to thank the Amy and Kathy for all their support, and for coming up with the idea of MITLI in the first place. When I first began the program, I had a goal in mind for what I wanted to lose by April 10. I know we have one more week, but I don't think I'm going to meet my goal, but I am close, and now my goal is to keep going with this weight loss that MITLI has helped me start.

I'm so proud of all my fellow MITLI contestants. I have come to grips that the tv will belong to someone other than me, but we all should hold our heads up high, and be proud of our weight loss. I just looked at the site, and everyone has big numbers!

The student mentor program was great for Team ExUBerant. Our mentor was supportive, helpful, smart, and informative. I know she will be a great support for us, even after the program ends. She's even my Facebook friend!

The commitment of everyone involved in this program has helped make the tough (but not impossible) task of losing weight go a bit smoother. It's so nice to know you're not alone.

Keep losing everyone!
OK, clearly team "The Biggest Winners" isn't going to win the TVs, but we've made peace with that. We have lost weight though, and that was the whole point. Last week we asked Amy if we could keep coming in on Fridays just to keep us honest! No matter whether any of us lost 50 pounds or 5 pounds, we're all better off. Great job everyone.

I Am In Awe!

Dear Everyone:

I haven't looked at the overall numbers in a few weeks for pounds lost. I just checked it out and I have to tell you, I am BLOWN AWAY by how well you are all doing. Wow! I think I can honestly say that we have never had such a successful MITLI contest taking into account all the teams. Everyone is losing and has stayed committed. Keep up the good work and be proud of what you have accomplished!

McDee's Secret

Liposuction!!!

Not really, we have just watched our caloric intake and have been working out, two things that we both haven't done for a long time. At least not with this level of dedication.

We are impressed with the UB Bullies commitment. We are barely hanging on to a lead and anticipate that they will surpass us eventually.

By the way here is a link to a great breakfast (or anytime craving) spot for the Bullies:

Trust us - well worth the trip and the extra work out!

Overachievers

Ok, McDees & UB Bullies, what are doing to keep getting these numbers week after week?!? I really want to know!!

You're definitely making it harder for the rest of us. But, congrats all the same.
